Our Prayer

Our life is centered around the Paschal Mystery as we listen attentively to God’s Word and celebrate the Eucharist daily.  It is a celebration that continues throughout the day in the rhythmic flow of communal and personal prayer and the ordinary events of daily life through which we are blessed and broken, given and received.  As we embrace our weaknesses and strengths, we become channels through which God brings healing to the world.

Called by the Holy Spirit to live a contemplative life in the heart of the Church and the world, we hold prayer to be the essence of our life. As nourishment for our life of prayer, spiritual reading is an important element of our day.

For me prayer is an aspiration of the heart.
It is a simple glance directed to heaven.
It is a cry of gratitude and love in the midst of trial
as well as joy.  Finally, it is something…
which expands my soul and unites me to Jesus.
